Do I need an appointment?

No. Walk-ins are always welcome at Kimo in Vilseck, Pfarrgasse 1, a few minutes from Rose Barracks. Just come in and wait until a chair is free. If you want a fixed time, call +49 9662 2936076 and we will hold a chair for you. Walk-ins work the same way at our main shop in Weiden.

Fade, taper or classic cut?

All of them. Low fade, taper fade, mullet or a classic scissor cut, plus beard styling and a classic wet shave. Not sure what your cut is called? Bring a photo on your phone, front and side, and show it to your barber.

Do you also cut women's and kids' hair?

Yes. Kimo is a barbershop and beauty salon in one, for men, women and kids. A women's wash, cut and blow-dry starts at €42.50, color at €41.50 and foil highlights at €45.00. Kids' cuts cost €15.00 up to age 5 and €20.00 from age 6 to 15.

Can I pay by card?

Please bring cash in euros. Our Vilseck shop is listed on Google as cash only, so plan ahead before you drive over from Rose Barracks. A men's dry cut starts at €22.50, a cut with beard styling at €36.50 and a classic wet shave costs €12.00. All prices include VAT.

Do you tip barbers in Germany?

Tipping is common but not required in Germany. For a haircut, five to ten percent of the bill is the usual guideline, according to German public broadcaster ZDF. On a €22.50 dry cut that is about €1 to €2.25, and many customers simply round up. Prices on our list already include VAT.
